What we collect

HumHigh collects minimal data to provide the game experience:

Game data: Player names (chosen by you), scores, and game room information stored temporarily during gameplay.
Audio recordings: In RALLY mode, humming recordings are stored for up to 7 days, then automatically deleted.
Feedback: If you submit feedback, the message and current screen are stored.
Analytics: If you consent, Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data (pages visited, session duration). No personal identifiers are sent.

What we don't collect

No email addresses (unless you create an account for RALLY)
No location data
No contact lists or phone numbers
No advertising profiles

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how people use the game. GA4 only loads after you accept the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage.

We store a humhigh-analytics-consent key in localStorage to remember your choice.

Data storage

Game data is stored on secure cloud servers (Supabase, hosted in the EU). Audio recordings are automatically deleted after 7 days. Game rooms and scores are kept for analytics but contain no personal identifiers beyond your chosen player name.

If you're in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

Access your data
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for analytics
Object to data processing

Google Analytics 4: Anonymized usage analytics (only with consent)
Deezer API: Music metadata and previews
Supabase: Database and authentication

Children

HumHigh is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
