What is the BLUR daily challenge?

Six pixelated album covers appear per round. Each image clarifies by itself — guess the album before it fully clears. You score 0 to 100 based on speed. Play as many rounds as you want; your best result counts on the weekly leaderboard. Share your score and challenge friends. Like Wordle, but for music.

What happened to Heardle? Is there an alternative?

Heardle was discontinued by Spotify in 2023. HumHigh fills the same niche — and goes much further. BLUR is a daily music puzzle with album covers. REWIND lets you guess the decade of original songs. Plus humming games, friend challenges, and group play. Free, no download, no account required.

How many players can play HumHigh?

REWIND and BLUR are solo. RALLY is 1-on-1. Group mode supports 2 to 20 players on their own phones. PITCH lets you play completely alone.

Do you need to download HumHigh?

Can you play HumHigh as a drinking game?

Yes. Enable Party Mode before starting group play. Wrong answer means take a drink. Nobody guesses the hum? Everyone drinks.

Yes — three solo modes exist. REWIND lets you guess the decade of songs. PITCH lets you hum one song and the AI rates it 0 to 100 with decimals. BLUR is a solo album cover guessing game — 6 pixelated covers per round, score 0 to 100.

Hum High is a global humming game. When you publish a hum to Open Rally, people around the world will hear your voice. Keep it kind and keep it musical.

What's allowed

Humming, whistling, or singing a song you genuinely know.
Background noise (room tone, pets, light laughter) is fine.
Any language. Any era. Any genre.

What's not allowed

Speech, slurs, hate, harassment or threats — toward anyone.
Sexual content, nudity references or content involving minors.
Personal information (your own or someone else's).
Recordings of other people without their consent.
Recordings of copyrighted audio playback (record yourself, not the radio).
Spam, advertising, or recordings unrelated to the labeled song.

Moderation

Anyone listening can flag a recording. Three flags hide the post instantly while we review. Repeated violations remove your ability to publish.

For the first 100 community recordings, every post is reviewed manually before going live.

Your rights

You can delete any recording you've published at any time. Deleting a post ends any active streaks attached to it.

Recordings auto-expire after 14 days of inactivity.
