Question 1

What is HumHigh?

Accepted Answer

HumHigh is a free browser-based music game platform with eight modes — pick the cover from a clip in SNAP, link 4 songs in CHAIN, guess the decade in REWIND, guess 3 pixelated album covers in BLUR, hum for AI in PITCH, challenge friends with RALLY, publish a hum in OPEN RALLY, or play in groups with PARTY. No download. No account.

Question 2

What is REWIND?

Accepted Answer

REWIND is a music quiz where you hear an original song and guess which decade it belongs to — eight decades, from the 1950s to the 2020s. No trivia questions — just listen and guess. Fast, free and addictive. The perfect entry point for any music lover.

Question 3

What is RALLY?

Accepted Answer

RALLY lets you record yourself humming a song and send it to a friend. They listen and pick the correct song from 4 options. Build streaks by guessing correctly in a row. No rush — play whenever you want, you don't need to be online at the same time.

Question 4

What is the BLUR daily challenge?

Accepted Answer

Three pixelated album covers appear per round. Each image clarifies by itself — guess the album before it fully clears. You score 0 to 100 based on speed. Play as many rounds as you want; your best result counts on the weekly leaderboard. Share your score and challenge friends. Like Wordle, but for music.

Question 5

What happened to Heardle? Is there an alternative?

Accepted Answer

Heardle was discontinued by Spotify in 2023. HumHigh fills the same niche — and goes much further. BLUR is a daily music puzzle with album covers. REWIND lets you guess the decade of original songs. Plus humming games, friend challenges, and group play. Free, no download, no account required.

Question 6

Is HumHigh free to play?

Accepted Answer

Yes. HumHigh is completely free. No subscription. No in-app purchases required. No account needed. Open humhigh.com in any browser and start playing immediately.

Question 7

How many players can play HumHigh?

Accepted Answer

REWIND and BLUR are solo. RALLY is 1-on-1. PARTY supports 2 to 12 players on their own phones. PITCH lets you play completely alone.

Question 8

Do you need to download HumHigh?

Accepted Answer

No download required. HumHigh runs entirely in your web browser. Open humhigh.com on any smartphone, tablet or computer and play immediately.

Question 9

Can you play HumHigh as a drinking game?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enable Party Mode before starting group play. Wrong answer means take a drink. Nobody guesses the hum? Everyone drinks.

Question 10

Can you play HumHigh alone?

Accepted Answer

Yes — three solo modes exist. REWIND lets you guess the decade of songs. PITCH lets you hum one song and the AI rates it 0 to 100 with decimals. BLUR is a solo album cover guessing game with 3 pixelated covers, score 0 to 100.

Question 11

Is there a music game like Wordle?

Accepted Answer

Yes. HumHigh's BLUR mode works like Wordle but for music. Three pixelated album covers gradually become clearer. Play as many rounds as you like — your best result counts on the weekly leaderboard. Score 0-100 and share your results.

Question 12

Is there a daily music connections puzzle?

Accepted Answer

Yes. CHAIN is HumHigh's free daily music connections puzzle. Start from one song and link 4 tracks through verified samples, covers, shared artists, producers and songwriters. You get 3 lives, 30-second preview clips and a new chain every day at 00:00 UTC. Unlimited bonus chains never affect your daily streak or leaderboard place.

Question 13

What is a HATTRICK on HumHigh?

Accepted Answer

A HATTRICK means finishing SNAP, then REWIND, then BLUR within the same UTC day. Only those three modes count. The daily podium belongs to the players who finish today, and the weekly board ranks players by number of hattrick days first and total points second.
